Roy Williams’ Antigone is announced as our second First Year production for Season 25/26.

 

This powerful reworking of the ancient tragedy places Antigone in a modern, fractured society where authority is absolute and dissent is dangerous. When she defies the law to do what she believes is right, the consequences are devastating.

 

Urgent and politically charged, this Antigone speaks directly to a world shaped by protest, control and resistance, asking how far we are willing to go to stand by our beliefs.
